The Easter Enigma is an Easter-themed D&D adventure that takes players on a thrilling journey to uncover a hidden treasure while navigating through dangerous challenges and battling deadly foes. This dynamic adventure is based on the 5 room dungeon model, with numerous random tables that allow for a wide variety of game experiences while maintaining the integrity of the story, plot, characters, and overall enjoyment of the game.
The Story
The players find themselves in the quaint village of Springhaven, where the annual Easter festival is in full swing. However, the festivities are suddenly interrupted by the arrival of an eccentric NPC (determined by Random Table A) who seeks assistance in finding the legendary “Egg of Eternity,” rumored to grant unimaginable power to its possessor. The players are presented with a mysterious map, legendary artifact, or mysterious clue (determined by Random Table B) that sets them on the path to the hidden treasure.
Random Table A: Eccentric NPCs (d12)
Each of these eccentric NPCs adds a unique flavor to the adventure and can provide the party of adventurers with valuable information, guidance, or assistance in their quest to uncover the enchanted Easter treasure. The DM can choose one of these NPCs or roll a d12 to determine the character that will introduce the players to the Easter Enigma adventure.
- Silas Hopperfoot: A sprightly gnome with rabbit-like features who claims to be a historian of ancient Easter traditions. Silas is always seen nibbling on a carrot, hops when excited or anxious, and has an uncanny ability to locate hidden eggs.
- Matilda Cottontail: A charismatic halfling bard who composes and performs whimsical songs about the legends of Easter. Matilda wears a rabbit fur cape, plays a carrot-shaped lute, and has a pet rabbit named…
